Disneyland Paris | Rides Malfunctions Damage the Magic
巴黎迪士尼
Disneyland Paris evokes a dreamlike image, especially with its Paris-exclusive Ratatouille area, which is very appealing to fans of Disney or Pixar. However, after my actual visit, I wouldn't highly recommend Disneyland Paris. It's not because it's not beautiful, nor because it's not fun at all, but rather because the overall experience wasn't as smooth as I had imagined. We encountered a malfunction while queuing for the Ratatouille ride and waited an hour for it to be fixed. In the afternoon, when we went to the newly built Frozen area, we encountered another malfunction and waited another hour. For someone who wanted to enjoy as many rides as possible, this kind of experience really dampened their spirits.

Two facility malfunctions prolonged the waiting time.
The most disappointing part of this trip was that we encountered two ride malfunctions in one day. The first was while queuing for the Ratatouille ride; we thought we were almost ready to ride, but the ride suddenly broke down, and we waited an hour for it to be fixed. The second was in the afternoon when we went to the newly built Frozen area, where we encountered another malfunction and waited another hour. If it had only happened once, we could have just attributed it to bad luck, but experiencing it twice in one day really ruins the overall experience. Especially since Disney tickets are already quite expensive, people want to spend their time enjoying as many rides as possible, rather than being stuck in queues or waiting for repairs. So, if you really enjoy riding rides and want to experience all the popular attractions in one day, Disneyland Paris might not be the ideal choice.
Ratatouille Restaurant
The Ratatouille restaurant in Disneyland Paris is quite unique. The restaurant's design incorporates elements from the movie, creating a visually appealing experience that's perfect for Ratatouille fans. However, in terms of actual dining experience, I found it rather ordinary. The food is on the pricier side, and everyone needs to order a set menu. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't so good that I felt it was worth going there specifically for. Plus, the service wasn't great. Overall, I'd say this restaurant is worth considering. It's incredibly popular, so if you really want to go, I recommend making a reservation online at least two months in advance, otherwise, it's very difficult to get a table during peak season.

Castle Fireworks
While I wouldn't highly recommend Disneyland Paris as a whole, I think the castle fireworks at night are definitely worth seeing. Around 10:30 PM, the fireworks start at the castle, and combined with projections of Disney artworks, music, and lighting effects, the whole scene is truly dreamlike. If you've already bought tickets, I would suggest not leaving too early at night, but at least staying to watch the fireworks. Even if the daytime experience isn't as great as expected, the fireworks still provide a more complete and memorable ending to the trip.
Many people might worry that it will be too late to get back to Paris after watching the fireworks. In our experience, there are still trains back to the city after the fireworks, so there's no need to worry too much. However, since everyone will leave together after the fireworks, the stations and platforms will be very crowded. We suggest that you check your return route in advance and don't wait until the last minute to slowly walk to catch your train. If you live far away, you can also check the last train time in advance for peace of mind.
