UK

During my year of studying in the UK, besides being busy with classes and writing reports, I also took advantage of my free time to visit many cities. For me, Britain is not just about London's Big Ben, red buses, and museums; each city has a very different personality. Some places are suitable for first-time visitors to the UK to explore at their own pace, while others are perfect for a relaxing weekend trip away from school.

This page is a list of cities and attractions that I think are worth recommending during my time in the UK, including classic London that you can never fully explore, Manchester full of music and football atmosphere, Liverpool with its port and Beatles culture, Edinburgh that feels like a movie set, the Lake District that's perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery, and Birmingham, Leeds and York, which are great for day trips or short getaways.

I'll share my impressions of each place, how long I should stay, and places I think are worth visiting in a relaxed way. I'll also share some tips on transportation and itinerary planning. I hope that whether you're currently studying in the UK, planning an exchange program, or simply planning a trip to the UK, you can find some practical and authentic information here.
