Arriving in Munich, Germany, just before Christmas 2025, I experienced the atmosphere of a European Christmas market for the first time. Although Munich in December is quite cold, the entire city is decorated with lights, Christmas trees, and market stalls, creating a festive atmosphere that makes you feel like you've stepped into a Christmas movie. Especially with a cup of mulled wine in hand, strolling through the market and looking at various snacks, handmade ornaments, and Christmas decorations, the atmosphere is something that's hard to experience in other seasons.

Besides the Christmas markets, authentic German pork knuckle, with its crispy skin and generous portion, is a classic delicacy not to be missed when visiting Germany. The classic BMW Museum not only showcases cars from different eras but also allows visitors to experience the charm of German industrial design and brand history.

During this trip, we visited Neuschwanstein Castle, a classic German castle. Although it takes a little travel time from Munich, it was definitely worth it. Neuschwanstein Castle itself is like a castle from a fairy tale, and with the surrounding mountain scenery and winter atmosphere, the whole scene is dreamlike and perfect for a day trip around Munich.
